I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter No.939 of yesterday's date referring to Despatch 157 of May 14th with its enclosures, respecting the proposed Contract for the Eastern Mail Service.
This subject has been so long under discussion, and is presented by the London Post Office in so clear a light, that there appears to be no doubt as to the course the Colony should pursue, recommending that the telegram enclosed...
